Whitelisting Waikay

If you try to add a website to waikay and you get a message saying that we are unable to access the site, this is almost always a choice in the firewall settings made by the website owner.

You will need to allow these settings:

  • Waikay’s User Agent is: waikay.io
  • IP address: 199.16.131.25

We are finding the most common block at this time is for Cloudflare users. Below are the instructions for enabling Waikay on Cloudflare, although you may find similar settings on other services.

Whitelisting Waikay on Cloudflare

If you use Cloudflare on your site it may block Waikay from analyzing your content and thus prevent creating your project. Here’s how to whitelist the Waikay’s user agent on Cloudflare:

Before you access your Cloudflare account take note of the following:

  • Waikay’s User Agent is: waikay.io
  • IP address: 199.16.131.25

Once you log into your Cloudflare account, go to ‘Security‘ > ‘Security Rules‘:

Click on ‘Create rule‘ > ‘Custom rules‘:

Choose action > ‘Skip‘ then click on ‘Deploy‘
